Subject: [CR]Polishing, plating and anodizing

I was going to post to the list to enquire about polishing parts, using polishing wheels and asking the CR population if they've any advice. I've got all sorts of hand polishes, but I've been wondering about getting a wheel set up for the parts that require deeper scratches taken out.

Anyway, before I posted I figured I'd do a little Google search and see what I could discover. I came across this site: http://www.caswellplating.com/ that seems to have buffing equipment and supplies as well as plating and anodizing kits. Seems pretty neat. Perhaps cost effective in the long run for those hoping to restore parts that are hard to find (or too expensive)?

Now all I need is a way to mould my own gum rubber hoods! :-)

Anyone care to share their thoughts on the above issues?
