Definitely... the sticker down on the seat tube by the bottom bracket proudly proclaims "Miyata Industries Co., Ltd MADE IN JAPAN" ! And it's all original - a situation I'll soon remedy with a triple, a long-cage rear der., and a seven-speed freewheel, by the way!

It actually looks a lot pricier than that! I didn't know you could get a cro-moly, butted frame for that, even back then!

p.s. I'll probably be switching out the "1024 Hi-Ten" fork for the chromed cro-moly one on the Nishiki Olympic frame that I offered here and (luckily) didn't sell.
