Russ, I think these frames were made in Taiwan although the parts are early Shimano 600 and very nice. A neighbor simply gave me one a couple of months ago - Larry Black claims I paid too much! In fact, it's the only frame I've seen where the bottle bosses are not properly centered on the tube. Based on Larry's comments, I get the impression that a fair number of these frames had similar problems or were improperly aligned in other ways.
