Regarding Pepi Limongi and Paris sport - Limongi actualy was in the US I believe. Much of the Paris sport construction was done in New Jersey I think. A close friend of mine, Paul LeMaire worked there - horrible working conditions and Frayssee was a complete terror to work for. If anyone remembers the Paris Sport ladies team (including Betsy King) bikes my friend Paul built them. He also introduced Betsy to racing... but I digress.

Some Paris Sport bikes may have been imported partially built from abroad, with rear triangles assembled in the US. I remember this because my friend Paul wanted to know if I was interested in doing a frame building stint, building the rear triangles if I recall. It was a terrible proposition. My frame building skills were less than marginal - why would I want to work for any company that would hire someone as unskilled as myself? Sure they claimed they would train me - but it sounded like a pretty hack operation.
