Earlier this year, while trying to help locate Paris Sport and Quevas decals for Weigle and Bell, I was able to talk to a couin of father and son Quevas. Pop is alive and well, living in the old country, Spain. Andreas now in his early to mid 50's ,unfortunitly had a stroke @2 years ago. He is living in Queens, N.Y.while going to rehabilitation. He has built under 100 frames and hopes to some day resume building . The shop is closed but all the stuff is still there in N.J at the old Paris Sport location. In 1979 Francisco built a road and a track for me. Nice looking Broke the road frame.Mike Fraesee said half of them broke(post employee bashing?).Those tubes sure looked cherry red to my 18 year old eyes. b Look under the fork crown inside of the steerer tube for the "X" reinforcement.
