Pull hard. Don't try to do one side with one roll, use two. Shellac is wonderful. If the end comes loose use Elmer's glue on it. For custom colors use white tape, clear shellac and fabric dye. Let it sit for a while after mixing to let the stuff that won't dissolve to go to the bottom. For a cream color use pigmented shellac with a couple of coats of clear on
top.
