Subject: [CR]Trip Report--Richard Hallett's Albuquerque

I visited Richard Hallett yesterday. He still has a BUNCH of bikes and frames, although everything he has isn't on his website. He has a potential buyer (cr listmember?) from British Columbia for his entire remaining Zeus inventory. Of note, he has about half a dozen pre-1900 bikes, a gorgeous Stella with chromed headlugs and rare Columbus tubing (rare for a Stella), 55 Raleigh Pro with a ding in the downtube, late 70s Trek, a lot of Woodrups, the 58-59cm Hetchins curly stay with wood rims (frame was NOS, but now built), a Gitane, a very interesting prototype folding Montesque (sp), several Bertin, a cutway Brooks saddle with either chromed or stainless rails that was very nice, but on his 'commute' bike and A PX-10 that may be on his website. He isn't sure what he will do with all of this inventory, but he isn't enamored with ebay. I am traveling and don't have his website or email, but he had that small Woodrup on ebay last week and I'm sure you can find it by doing a search. Oh, and I experienced 22
degrees in Gallup NM this morning. Boy, will I be ready to get back to Orlando. Lou Deeter, temporarily in El Paso TX.
