So Assos introduced Lycra.... Cool! Maybe Tony was inspired by a Swiss miss in a girdle? Before I turn to a serious note, I also am reminded by a Robert Clair-sent poster in which Assos advertised the aforementioned Swiss miss declaring "I'd rather wear nothing if not my Assos" (She was saying something like that, my attention was not on her words.) Apologies to the group...

NOW, what I wanted to mention was the factory drilled out Assos cranksets and cartridge-like bottom brackets from the late 1970s/early 1980s. Coupled with their tricky minimalist pedals and aero rims, Assos was definitely leading edge for a brief period.. Any of you guys riding or own that equipment?
