I also am one who's curious when the 'world' changed to a 'shield' on the gum hoods. Besides that, when did (1-piece alloy) hubs get their 'Record' stamping. Roughly when did dropouts change from long to short? Finally, roughly when did the calipers go from nutted to recessed?
