Subject: [CR]ersatz seatpost wrench...

hello,

earlier on this list a contributor mentioned that a nice alternative to Campagnolo's 'three bend' seatpost adjuster was available at none other than Sears...for those who might chance such a purchase: it's not a Ted Williams autograph nor is it J C Higgins but rather the dreaded Craftsman brand...they call it an 'offset.' it is 9mm on one end and 10mm on the opposite...instead of having to turn the wrench over to get the other ratchet direction, the latest variety has a small clicker...it may be accessed in confined spaces so seat adjustment *might* be made without having to remove the wrench....

wish to say thanks to that wise person who suggested this tool originally,

best wishes,

memo to B Vila: it'd be even nicer in a 'long reach' version
