OK, stalemate. Who's right, Herb or Chuck? Does rubbing alcohol hurt the rubber hoods; can anyone else back up Chuck's idea?

Weigh in so that us "regular folk" can put on the hoods without screwin' 'em up. I'm sure there are other great ideas out there...

I just pull them on (ignorance is bliss), but didn't realize there was a technique to it... I'm sure I've gotten close to tearing one without even knowing it!

Come on list members, spend a minute and tell us what works!
