I bought a Guisseppi Bianchi as my first real racing bike in 1971 while traveling in Florence It. They had a full lightweight Camp NR bike for $240. Because of limited funds, I had to go with the Camp Valentino version for $78! It was a fine bike with Campy dropouts in the frame. No name tubing at that price, but very raceable. My friends and I bought 3 of them. They came with tipo hubs and Nisi rims with tubular tires. I eventually upgraded the bike and sold it when I lived in Austin Tx. I used it as a fixed gear bike for a time to commute to school. Those are nice bikes and not heard of much compared to Bianchi of Milano. I was too ignorant to go to Milano and check out all of the builders there. Nice reminder of the past. Merry Christmas! Keith Kessel Shreveport
