The only Campagnolo seat post binder bolts I'm aware of were the #1070 and #1072. Both were made of steel and essentially the same, except the #1070 was a larger diameter than the much more common #1072; 10mm versus 8mm respectively. Both units used a 5mm Allen wrench. I've never heard of a steel NR model versus an alloy SR model from Campagnolo, but would like to learn more if there such a difference. As you say, the #17 catalog makes no mention of an alloy item, nor does it refer to any seat binder bolts in either the NR or SR sections. The steel binders are located in the back in the sundries/spares pages.
