Being a rocket scientist, and having watched many, many engineers try to out-engineer each other, this looks like a disaster waiting to happen. I agree with the listmember who suggested just buying a 27.0 post. Reminds me of my trying to make an allen headed brake fit into a nutted only frame--boy, did I screw that one up!!
