In a phone conversation in the early '90s Mr. Hill told me that a dealer from California wanted to buy the entire CycloPedia inventory and when Hill refused the dealer threatened court action. Hill wanted to sell his stock to individuals as bike parts, not collectibles. Out of anger he took the stock to a junkyard.
