Hi all,

I have a beautiful 23" c-t 1970 Raleigh Professional for sale. Many of you who attended Lars Anderson last summer saw this bike on display. It is in absolutely mint, show condition, and is completely original. It was built for our regional Raleigh sales rep back in 1970 to commemorate many years of service to Raleigh Industries. The bike is unlike any "production" Raleigh Pros that you have seen or discussed, with chromed headlugs with swirl cutouts, 5-3-1 throughout with narrow seatstays, semi wrapped, Reg Harris style downtube decals, "Professional" script hand lettered in gold leaf on the top tube, E.W.K. monogrammed on the seat tube (for Elmer W. Kearns). The bike is equipped with a complete Campagnolo Record Gruppo, Fiamme yellow label rims on 36/36 LF hubs, 3ttt Record Bar/Stem. Regina Oro FW/Chain. Tangerine flamboyant finish in perfect shape. All decals and headbadge are 100%. Brooks Pro saddle. The chainrings are beautifully drilled by expert machinists at Raleigh Special Works - perfectly laid out and counterbored each side of both rings.

Unfortunately I have to make way for some new machines and this one, along with a few others in the near future, must go. $1750 firm.

Please email off list if interested.
