Hello everyone,
I'm trying to piece together a fixed gear commuter for my brother. Since he lives and works in downtown Chicago, I have to use a frame that is inconspicuous to the ravenous bike thieves crawling around the city. Does anyone have a frame that would be a good candidate for a Chicago commuter? Anyone have a frame taking up precious real estate in your basement that you'd like to get rid of??
I was thinking along the lines of an old steel road frame/fork, maybe like a Univega Nuovo Sport with minimal rust.
