Ah, well, don´t know if I should be relieved or not. Saw Johns note this morning, liked the bike - in fact thought it would be just the cats meuw for my fixed project - laid a bid and was outbid by £2 just in the end.

Of course nobody knows how high his proxy was.

I have bought vintage bikes before, but then they were new! Never before have I bid on an old bike. God bless, where will this end?

I´ve heard it had 5/16 front drop-outs. If such an opportunity would arise again, what is to do with that?

Too bad about the decals, when the real thing is so readily available over there-- The Capella lugs are very interesting-- that could be a really nice bike! Cheers -- Nelson Miller
