In my opinion, that falls outside the list, and I think you should be free to do as you wish. Some members have said they won't bid on something if another list member really wants it, but you shouldn't be bound by that. If the item was placed for sale on the list, it would have a fixed price, but on eBay, it's open season, so to speak.
