Having been on the list for almost (but not quite) as long as yourself I've watched it change from an informative list in it's previous guise as a information sharing lightweight bicycle discussion group to a chat list about the relative merits of cycling shoes and the like I have to disagree.

When you get one response to a question about 531R and over 50 on "my favourite cycling shoe" it wears a bit thin. What next - 60+ postings about wether the stripe on Eddy Merckx's socks was brown or Molteni orange ? Personally I'm calling it a day with contributing to the list - but hey Chuck that's my right and my opinion.
