Subject: [CR]Unfair to Yanks

Got my newest Cycling Plus this week, and it is excellent as usual, with one exception. This month's win-a-bike contest features a chance to win a Peugeot Pulse, the new model featured in Paul Vincent's old-versus-new review last month. I don't think you can buy this model in the US, maybe the concern in Canada still has the US rights to the Peugeot name. Unfortunately, as usual, the win-a-bike contest is "limited to residents of UK". Come on lads! Paul? Hilary? Give us poor Yanks a chance - and poor Aussies and Kiwis and Canadians and South Africans, and English-speaking bikies elsewhere. Why can't it just be "nonresidents of UK must pay shipping charges"? I think I'll send in an entry anyway as a subtle form of protest. Of course lots of US contests are limited to US residents, but that never made sense to me either. Maybe C+ should strike the first blow for international relations.
