[CR]I've got a tick-tick-tick in my crank area... Solved it!

Subject: [CR]I've got a tick-tick-tick in my crank area... Solved it!

1. Changed the chain from an Extra to an Oro, tick still present... 2. Pulled off the Pistas, re attached w/ a bit of beeswax, tick still present... 3. Checked all the chain ring bolts, not loose... 4. Reseated Phil BB and a slight smidge of beeswax on the tapers and remounted, it's gone!!!

Thanks to all you wonderful folks who wrote to help, over 15 responses, I guess everyone's gone through this before!

Never got a real torque # value for the crank bolts into the BB spindle, but the best advise I received was to use my peanut butter wrench to get a good tightness, very unscientific but anyone have the actual recommended torque??? Seems that I could really crank down this sucker and maybe split it (the crank arm)???
