Subject: [CR]First pics of British Bike Frames for Sale

I have just received the first pics of the British Bike frames that are comming up for sale. They will be around $250. Here's the 1950 Ellis Biggs. Methinks the detail work is typical of the other bikes. Don't know.

Here some information about the bike.

Original owner bought it new in 1951 direct from Ellis Briggs, who are a small Yorkshire family run builders, who have managed to keep going to this day, mainly I think because of the personal service they give and their consistent quality. It is a 22.75" frame, made from Reynolds 531 double butted tubing. It has Stronglight headset and cotterless bottom bracket set, and is in excellent condition. He had it re-enamelled in 1975, but as he got older rode it very little and eventually transferred all the parts to a smaller frame. It hasn't been used for several years.

Love this bike, I may keep this one, but who knows now.
