Wheels Manufacturing makes little aluminum sleeves with a small shoulder to serve the same function as the "traditional" rubber grommets. I've never used them. They may be better at staying in place, but for all I know they don't work at all. I just thought I'd throw this out there and see if anyone has had any experience with these. It seems like they might be a little cleaner looking than the bulging rubber washer... if you're obsessed by such things (who, me?).
