My Windsor Pro now has Campy C-Record retrofrictions (seemed a bit closer to original than Simplex) because I got tired of the Campy friction levers slipping out of gear on steep hills even when tightened quite tight. If you think that lasting forever is the prime criterion, Campy NR is the best. If you think working properly for a few fewer years is the key requirement, they are inferior. All depends on your priorities.
