The Charles Martin I picked up recently (the pictures drew some 400+ hits but my queries disappointedly netted but one response from Larry O about the drop-outs, buy the way), had a pair of tire savers installed. I hadn't seen any in years. I was never a big fan of them (one of the reasons I wear gloves is so I can sweep my tires), but the novelty of them has me thinking about re-installing them after the rebuild. They also, however, reminded me of "Flick Stands" (the little wire devices that flipped down from the down-tube and grabbed the front tire to keep it from rolling as a kind-of parking aid), which I was fond of. Are Flick Stands still available somewhere? I'd love to have a couple for some of my bikes, particularly my '74 Raleigh "coffee bar" bike.
