Subject: [CR]Re: Campy flat bladed QRs

I have a question about the proper vintage and type skewers to match the first generation Super Record rear derailer. I've seen Campy flat bladed skewers with small acorn nuts securing the handles as well as ones using "C" clips. Are both of them Record type or is one from a lesser gruppo, or are they of different vintages (or both) ?

I've also seen different "vintage" skewer nuts, one conical with two "coin edge" bands and one conical with chrome loop. Are these from different vintages or different gruppos? I've also seen the cap portion (through which the lever fits) with lettering engraved and plain caps as well. What's up with that?

Thank you very much in advance for you guidance.
