Subject: [CR]Durifort tubing/A.Duprat cranks

Hi again gang,

Anyone know much about Durifort tubing? I just picked up a crusty Raphael Geminiani that's apparently made from Durifort, and has a "Tubes Flash" label on the downtube. Was this stuff a step up from gaspipe? Is it butted, or straight-gauge? The bike's nothing special, but the price was right, and it has a few interesting parts on it. I'm also wondering if anyone is familiar with steel cranks made by(?) "A.Duprat". It's a nice lookin' steel crank that has Simplex chainrings/ attaching hardware. Thanks again for any info.

Cheers,

Duane Kennard
