Beyond that, diedn't the "MC" part of the serial number
indicate "Masi California" rather than "Mario Confente"?
So far, it seems that every California built Masi I've
seen for sale has been portrayed as having been built by
Confente. Clearly this can't really be the case. I wonder
if this sort of thing will only get worse since the sale
of the "true" Confente for $8600?
