Exactly right, that's where I got the term, and it feels exactly the same. Lack of torsional rigidity.

The only time I've heard the term "scuttle shake" used has been in British sports car publications, where it describes a type of misbehavior on bumpy roads resulting from a lack of torsional rigidity in the body structure of some convertible (sorry, I mean drophead) cars.
