Subject: [CR]Back on the list

Hello folks. I dropped off the list for a while, but now it's good to be back. Here's a story you might find of interest. Back in 1977, I bought a never-been-sold '75 Motobecane Le Champion, in the silver lilac color. In early 1980, the bike was stolen while I was in college. For many years, I looked for another, in my size of 22 inches. Finally, in about 1998, I found one in silver lilac. Unfortunately, the frame size was 24. I bought it anyway, thinking that "maybe, someday" I would find a 22 inch frame. Some of you may know the guru of all things Motobecane, Charlie Stephens, who told me he thought Motobecane didn't even produce a 22 inch frame in that color that year. Last week, while perusing ebay, it happened. I found a 22 inch silver lilac frame, THE HOLY GRAIL. Today, it arrived.

Rosebud!

Now, I need to find a good home for the 24". Anyone interested before it goes to ebay? I have no idea about an appropriate price, but I am thinking in the $150 range (with fr. NR headset installed).

It's good to be back among you.
