I thought abot the reception last week. I recently returned from Eurobike and for the first time in ages avoided completely the reception there

The ones they have are dark, loud, smally, and beer flows on the floor like it did at Ihio University in the 70's. One of the reasons I liked receptions is the ability to schmooze and renew acquaintences and meet new folk.

While the domestic show receptions aren't as tumultuous, they are still very crowded, there are lines for mediocre food, and there's noise. I vote for a get together as soon as the show quits for that night

Even though I 've been attending shows here and abroad since the very early 70s (when it was the right time of year, Jan/Feb) this is my first show in several years, actually, because customers usually know more anyway.

I'll be arriving late sat pm.

By the way, I've decided thatin order to make travel more efficient and secure for everyone. I am going to ship my small suitcase to the hotel and back again. No checks, no baggage check-in, no retrieval...... The stuff will be either at the desk or in my room upon my arrival. I might take a very small , clear vinyl backpack with a few essentials if I need them.

I was thinking of wearing my birthday suit but it might attract too much attention.

I don't think i'll even wear it too the reception

I vote for good food and quietier atmosphere

BTW we have received numerous calls about the Tornado in College Park The shop is fine, we were about 1/2 mile from the center (the worst was a car lifted and landed 1/4 mile from its location with two aboard - sisters that lost their lives when the car landed)
