Orange for Colnago, as on 1970's Supers,
White with black zebra-like stripes for Rossin in the 80's,
I think of two very strong colors--Lime green and Violet--as classic for the
pin-stripes-and-Nervex-era Schwinn Paramounts.
Orange with white and then black fogging near the ends of each main tube for
Mondia Specials, late 1960's like the above paramounts.
Chalky robins'-egg blue for Rene Herse.
I always kind of liked the idea of a bike brand being strongly identified
with one color.
