Not disagreeing, just adding: didn't the Gran Sport have a Nervar Star or Stronglight 93 crank (I've seen 'em with both), where the Comp always had the TA 3-arm crank. Comps also had the Jubile rear mech, vs, some sort of touring mech on the G.S.?

By the way, I've forgotten what that TA 3-arm crank called? I tried to find the fan website with all the old TA stuff on it, but the site is defunct, or maybe moved. Used to be at http://www.echo.com/~magpie/ta.html and was also at http://www.eeph.com/~magpie/ta.html - don't know which one is newer and which older but neither works now. Are you out there?
