I have just got a postcard of Legnano team 1960. I bought it because I
found Umberto ' Lupo ' Mascheroni, a mechanic of the team, on it. There are
8 racers whose names( Battistini,......) are written. But names of the 4 men
behind the racers are not written. One is Lupo but I cannot identify other 3
men with confidence. I suspect the director was A. Binda and another
machanic was Umberto Marnati. Does anyone have the full list of team
members
then?
I have found the team bikes of 1960 don't have the golden brass soldier
headbadges. I have been thinking that in 1950s and 1960s the Legnano bikes
had those headbadges. The Aldo's Legnano1962 on CR site does have the badge!
I would like to know when that kind of headbadges were introduced and when
they disappeared.
