Well, although I live in the evil USA South, we have had a lovely mix of races and ethnic backgrounds associated with our local sponsored club for many years....

Many of you Cirque attendees will remember two (3?) years ago my good friend and former sponsored racer , Jarvis Allen, winning best in show with his gorgeous original old Cinelli. Jarvis is a true gentleman and coincidentally of African American heritage.

And (while I am bragging) many of you who have visited cycles de ORO might have met my most valued associate, Robert Carter , who has Colnagos ad Bianchis, and leads regular rides named "Robert's Relaxing Rides" which are not all that relaxing but hugely popular. He, of course, with his dreads, could be taken for a Nubian prince!

I could on about the other folks, but I think we can all be rather happy that our little merry band is open and welcoming to anyone who loves old (or new) bicycles.

We just like to argue about Masi and lugs!!!
