That crank, the Professional 3-pin, came as standard equipment on Raleigh Competitions as late as '75 I think (the Raleigh catalog archive at http://www.speakeasy.org/~tabula/raleigh/raleigh-catalogs.html is currently not working so I can't confirm that)

I remember selling and installing 5-pin "Cyclotouriste" cranks, with the pedal hole capped that way, into the '80s.

Have you checked out the ClassicRendezvous page on T.A. at http://www.classicrendezvous.com/France/TA_main.htm ?

By the way, I have what I think may be a rare thing - a set of three triple chainring bolts/spacers for the Professional 3-pin crank, NIP. If anyone needs a set I'll sell them for $20 including shipping in the USA, a bit more elsewhere. Only if you'll use 'em though! If someone's going to hoard them I'd prefer it be me!
