Hi Phil:

I just might take you up on that. However, I will look at the local Public Library first. This time I will see if they can get one on loan from another Library. I see no reason to send a book from Ohio to California and back. I was actually thinking of owning a copy rather than borrowing one, but at about the same price as a fairly nice road bike I think I will pass. Someone already mentioned that there is a version in the Black Heritage Library collection which sells for a bit over $40.00. If I decide to purchase one, I'll look for that one first.

Thanks anyway, "Bicycle Mark" Perkins Fresno Cycling Club - Historian Fresno, California

P.S. I went out into the Sierra foothills yesterday for a brisk 55-mile ride in the frosty countryside. There was supposed to be a club ride, but I ended up riding solo. OK by me, everyone else missed out.
