I can't help but feel saddened when I see what amounts to a picked over carcass. To me,this is similar to an architecturally significant home being plundered for salvageable fixtures, then left to stand abandoned.Maybe we shouldn't be so quick to look at a bike as a sum of its parts, calculating its part out value for eBay.Please,no one take offense, just one bike lover's opinion.I'll step down off my soap box now. ------------------------------------------ Jay Van De Velde ------------------------------------------ Seal Beach,CA ------------------------------------------

Hello Everyone -

I just stumbled upon this Rene Herse listing:

http://ebay.com/<blah>

Item #1072141421. It seems vaguely familiar.

Hmmmmm - Is this one of those frames (mentioned recently) that was

stripped and returned to the US?

Cheers,
