I just found a set of Lyotard 23 platform pedals. One platform is broken near the rear edge, in the thin part just outside of the cleat area. Is it worth having this welded back together, or will it just break again?
I thought about reinforcing with plate and machine screws, but there's really not enough room to use screws. I might try JB Weld and a plate reinforcement the width of the platform. Any other ideas?
