I was looking at some old Record (apparently) hubs recently without the Record inscription on the barrel. Some had the shield logo and others the world logo (same as the later hubs with Record inscription). Are the shield logo hubs an earlier version or are they something other than Record? I notice that the chrome barrel Gran Sport hubs have the shield logo which makes me think the shield logo "Record" hubs may be earlier.
Is there any difference between Nuovo Record and Super Record cranks? The chainwheels are obviously different, but I am not sure if I am looking at NR cranks with SR rings or what.
Any enlightenment will be much appreciated.
