I'm going out on a limb here and say that I've known Curtis for a few years and I've never had a bad dealing with him. He might strike some as being eccentric, but then again, what about grown men & women with old bicycles? ;^) His shop in Philadelphia, Via Bicycle, is a treasure trove of bike parts, probably a messy version of Classic Rendezvous heaven...

It reminds me of Chuck Schmidt and "Biorem" Nels Cone battles on rec.bicycle.marketplace (which thankfully have faded).
