I wanted to add my two cents here.. The tubing specs are printed on the older Lambert and Viscount bikes in a big gold mylar sticker that gives a longwinded hyperbolic description of the materials strength, yada, yada.. I fact, I understood that it was half way decent fairly light & straight gauge chrom-moly that they actually sourced from a number of manufacturers through the bikes production life. I think the idea was like Serotta's and Pinarello's "proprietary" tubing which allows them to actually buy whatever they can buy at the best price at a given time and yet appear to be consistent in production...
