Just a note on the adjustment of a Campagnolo Record brake: When setting the clearance on the caliper arms it is important to release the spring so that you can feel the actual friction as you adjust the spindle nut and the lock nut. The large bearing surface fore and aft provided by the spindle nut washer and the large spindle surface where the spring goes (another washer) really negates anything you would gain by a bushing inserted into the caliper in my opinion.
