I agree with Dale. I am speaking up to say no, it reminds me too much of the crappe in a can gas pipe 1st edition sludge that was out a few years ago. Your bicycles deserve to spark a much more respectful memory. You could always go with

Liberta with the little accent on the a...Italian with a slight variation in the lettering which doesn't evoke thoughts of tin cans Or Freiheit...German...nah! that doesn't work. Or use a different form of the French word...Liberte with the accent on the e. trying to keep with the original thought while getting away from the original bike brand. Just thoughts
