HOLDSWORTH LA QUELDA 23in bronze welded (fillet brazed) frame. The frame number indicates that this is an early post WWII frame probably around 1948. Although it needs a repaint there is a lot of the original finish still showing including fabulous green and gold lining and a wonderful Œspearpoint¹ head tube. All the transfers are available and I can arrange for this frame to be refinished in the UK to the original design or can supply transfers both at extra cost. It comes complete with a Hobbs Lytalloy headset and a British bottom bracket. There is no frame damage apart from an inexplicable dent to the top of the fork crown on one side. This could easily be be filled with a little braze before rechroming. This frame will look absolutely gorgeous once restored. Photos are available. $225

MACLEANS 20in c.1948 This is a lovely Macleans frame from the early post war years. The lugs are ŒOscar Egg¹ type, there¹s lovely gently curved rear brake bridge and the forks have a wonderful two plate crown. Period frames from the post-war years, this small, are quite rare. The paintwork is non original but the transfers are available and I can arrange for this frame to be refinished in the UK or can supply transfers both at extra cost. The frame appears to be completely straight and I could not spot any dings. Macleans were one of the first British Œlightweight¹ framebuilders setting up in business in 1919 and they continued through into the early 60s before being taken over by the Holdsworthy Company. Photos are available. $195

FLYING SCOT 21in FRAME, Nervex Pro lugs, 21 1/2in top tube, very similar to frame number 345 on Bob Reid¹s site http://freespace.virgin.net/bob.reid1/page7.htm Frame number of this frame is 326K which would make it a touch earlier, say 1961/2. Head lugs, rear fork ends and three in of rear stays and front fork ends and three inches of fork blades are chromed. Rear ends are Simplex but with a Campagnolo hanger fitted - this looks perfectly original as the hanger and dropout have the original chrome. Chrome plating all really needs redoing and the paintwork whilst all there needs redoing. No signs of any damage to the frame or forks. Some really lovely touches including the rear brake bridge and shaped stop on down tube to prevent a band-on gear lever slipping down the tube. The transfers are available and I can arrange for this frame to be refinished in the UK or can supply transfers both at extra cost. Photos are available. $225

Photos are available. $125

ALLEZ LEATHER HAIRNET HELMET - this appears to be practically unused and is marked with the size 59 on the inside. It looks as if it has hardly been worn if at all.
