Hi All, My bold claim is based up the statistically insignificant sample of two bikes. However; my 1969, pre-fastback pro had weinmann, my 1972 fastback bike had ava. As David suggests, both were likely used, at least for a time. Regards, -Chuck Taylor Boson, MA

I just bought a 72 Raleigh Pro in good condition but the rims are worthless. They have a "Made in France" logo at the valve and the label at the seam says A.V.A in block letters. Newbie that I am, I do not know much about these rims other than they have to get replaced! Does anyone have info on these rims? Also, does anyone have an appropriate set of tubular rims for this bike? Thanks! Dan Tedford
