Is anyone familiar with the "Vintage bicycle price guide" available from http://www.oldroads and made by Menotomy Vintage Bicycles? I am thinking of buying it.

It doesn't cost much, but any price guide must be approximate:

--- there's not enough data, for one thing (no single source that collects prices)

--- for any particular vintage bike there's a huge variations between original (good or bad) condition and "restored" condition (desirable, maybe, but unauthentic by definition), which makes comparisions based on model designation alone of limited usefulness

--- many marques achieved only local renown, which suggests there may be many fine 30 year old bikes made in (for example) Argentina or Germany that no one in the US (and no US price guide) knows about.

all of which is subject to more than the usual level of disagreement (just a newbie here).
