Classicists, I've taken your sage advice and managed to post pictures of the Mariposas to a new Yahoo photo site. The pictures of the 650B are the same ones you may have seen elsewhere since I've not yet taken possession of the bike. The other bike is a custom Mariposa Tourer built mostly with Daytona 9, nice custom carriers, and all of 48cm or so tall. It belongs to my SO. It's a beautiful bike and the photos don't do it full justice. Also a few pictures of the Herse Gentleman and more forthcoming of other Herse, Singer, and classics, once I get the camera back from the University. Look here for the pictures: http://photos.yahoo.com/dvicakrababa A modern Gilles Berthoud arrived today, filet brazed and built for short reach brakes, it's not exactly a classic but it's in the tradition of updated French audax bikes---I will post pictures of that shortly, I hope.

bon soi! Douglas Brooks aka dvicakrababa, or Two-Wheel Baba, a Sanskrit thing, for the sake of the Yahoo pictures...in Canandaigua, NY O Spring, where art thou?
