Subject: [CR]Reviving old gum brake hoods

I have recently had success with using Armorall on a pair of Universal hoods that I thought were beyond help. The results were very good with the colour evened out and the brittle feel gone. True they do feel slippery now but that could be rubbed out now or will wear out in time. All I did was spray on a heavy coat, left it for a couple of hours and the wiped off the excess. Maybe treating hoods from new will extend their life. -- Tony Beckett Stubbington UK Maybe today was the first day of Spring
